For as long as I can remember, I’ve had a devoted passion towards technology, be it computer hardware or space exploration. Technology has change the way we live our lives, providing the foundations for an even greater tomorrow. It’s changing the world, and I’d like to be a part of that process.
After working on many projects both for clients and personally, I decided to venture out and provide my Administration services. I currently manage a variety of game servers, voice servers, file servers, web servers and database servers, working with both the Windows Server environment and the Linux environment with distros such as Debian and Arch.
After my introduction to Computer Science a couple of years ago, I have been spending some of my spare time on personal and client based projects, which have included Desktop and Web applications, and more recently mobile and wearable applications. Recently a College friend and I started a new project, DinoFy Web Development
(2008 - 2013)
From September 2008 - June 2013, I studied a range of subjects including (not limited to) English, Mathematics, Physics, IT and Engineering (Electrical & Mechanical). During this time my interest in Computers sky-rocketed to where it's at today, with interests in Networking, Web development, Software development, and Computer Hardware. Studying at St Hild's C of E School gave me access to cutting edge educational resources, and I'll be forever thankful for the support I received during my stay at the School.
(2013 - 2016)
In September of 2013, I started Hartlepool Sixth Form College to study my A-Levels, in preparation for Univeristy. During my time at HSFC, I studied A-Level Computer Science, A-Level Mathematics and also A-Level Psychology, a subject I've been interested in for a while. At HSFC I broadened my understanding of Computing through studying Computer Science Theory, and also developed a greater passion for Psychology through looking the many different approaches and perspectives to Psychology.
In March of 2013, I began working with a duo called The Mojo Men, an act that performs at various different venues around the UK and Internationally. During this time I have worked on numerous internal projects, such as maintaining their existing website, designing poster and flyers, and recently developing a bespoke booking system, which I also integrated into my second year A-Level Computing Project.
In June of 2015, I was approached by a member of staff through the college, who was looking for students to develop a website for a local company called Hart Innovations. Myself and a good friend of mine Thomas Hutchinson, combined with our knowledge of CSS, HTML, PHP, MySQL and server administration, we took it upon ourselves to develop a website for their company, with a bespoke content management system. From this project, DinoFy Web Development was born.
(2015 - Present)
In July of 2015, after the development of a website for the local company Hart Innovations had finished, and after we had been complimented for our web development skills, myself and my good friend Thomas Hutchinson, decided to start a project to develop websites for companies that request web development. As a result, DinoFy Web Development was born.
(March 2013 - Present)
Since March 2013, I have been working as a Road Manager for a series of bands/artists in my area. During my time as a Road Manager I've had to maintain the equipment that needs to be used on gigs, and also assist in the process of making booking arrangements with venues and managing them for future dates.
(February 2015 - Present)
Since February 2015, I've been operating as an Independent Avon Sales Representative, in my spare time. Working for Avon has allowed me to develop many personal qualities such as people and sales skills, organisation skills and also overall business management skills.
